Microsoft PC manager + Tesla
Marketing campaign page design

About
During my internship at Microsoft as a UX Designer, I designed a web and mobile campaign page for the Microsoft PC Manager × Tesla partnership, highlighting energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. The experience translated the collaboration into a visually engaging digital experience that communicated smarter energy use and reduced digital waste, while increasing product awareness and encouraging engagement with Microsoft PC Manager as a more efficient, eco-conscious tool for device performance.

Closer look

AI generated illustration inspiration
I used Microsoft Bing AI image tools in the early exploration phase to quickly test visual directions and align with stakeholders.
These outputs were not final assets, but reference material for composition, lighting, and storytelling decisions.

Illustration reference
I collected Tesla references from multiple angles to study proportions, lighting, and key design details.
This helped me choose the most effective perspective to express motion and fit the campaign layout.

Selected one
After reviewing six final concepts with the marketing team, we selected the fifth direction.
The chosen concept combined a Tesla driving along a road with geometric forms inspired by the Microsoft logo. This composition connected the two brands while creating a clear sense of speed, movement, and technological progress.

Iterations of Design
Before completing the final illustration, I placed AI-generated concept images into the page layout to test different proportions, compositions, and content arrangements.
This allowed me to evaluate the relationship between the hero image, typography, campaign messaging, and interface elements early in the process. It also gave stakeholders a more tangible way to review the direction before significant time was invested in illustration production.

Takeaways
Used AI image generation in workflow to quickly test concepts, compare compositions, and align with stakeholders before final execution.
Built in time for stakeholder feedback, development, and design QA to meet the fixed campaign launch date.
Applied Fluent Design principles across the interface, illustrations, and campaign assets to maintain visual consistency.
